The term cancer defines abnormal growth of cell tissues, is group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with potential to spread to other parts of the body. It’s a disease in which abnormal cells divide uncontrollably and destroy body tissue. Cancer starts when cell change abnormally, grows as cells multiply over and over. Cancer therapy defines treatment of cancer in a patient. It can be treated by surgery, chemotherapy, Antineoplastic therapy, radiation therapy, hormonal therapy, targeted therapy and synthetic lethality. The selection of therapy depends on the area and grade of the tumour and the stage of the disease, as well as the normal condition of the patient.
